Beltangady, Mar 6: Maddadka Mosque administrative committee sacked its vice-president Abonu Maddadka for allegedly attending Modi’s Bharata Gellisi convention held in Mangalore recently.
M. Abbonu Maddadka, is a social and political activist from Kuvettu, Beltangady and a vice president of Maddadka Noorul Huda Jummah Masjid.
Few locals who came to know about Abbonu’s participation in rally complained to the managing committee asking him to keep him out of Jamaat activities for a period of five years. Without seeking explanation from Abbonu for this act, they also insisted the committee not to be given any post during this period to him.
In response the mosque committee in a meeting decided to keep him out of the post till next year’s general body meeting, whereas quashed the demand for a five year ban.
