BJP Mahila Morcha to observe Women’s Day with Chai Pe Charcha

Mangalore, Mar 6: BJP Mahila Morcha has organized a Chai Pe Charcha interactive session with BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on March 8 to mark International Women’s Day.

Speaking at the press meet held at district BJP office on March 6, Thursday BJP Mahila Morcha state secretary Pulasya Rai said that the discussions will be take place on problems faced by women and on issues like women empowerment.

She also said that second round of Chai Pe Charcha with Modi will be held in around 1,500 centres across the country including 110 in Karnataka on the occasion of International Women’s Day. Around 28 centres will be set up in Bangalore, while 30 will be international centres between 4 pm to 6:30 pm.

Around 50% of the discussion sessions will be held in the rural regions, in which 100 to 150 women along with leaders, achievers and special invitees will take part in every discussion. Apart from it video clip on the developments carried out by Modi will also be displayed, she informed.

The discussions in Dakshina Kannada will be held at NITK hostel, Suratkal, Hotel Mathrushree, Kavoor, Vardhaman Hotel, Yeyyadi, Hotel Janatha, Gurupur, Sri Ram Restaurant, Kinnigoli, Sri Durga Canteen, Mulky, Anugraha Canteen, Sullia, NaMo tea stall, Guruvayanakere in Belthangady, and Hotel Padma Tourist, B C Road, Bantwal.

BJP Mahila Morcha leaders Sulochana G K Bhat, Pusphpalatha Gatty, Kasthuri Panja, Shantha R, Shakeela Kava and Roopa D Bangera were present.
