Udupi; Feb 27: It was reported that three people were killed on the spot in a tragic accident as a result of tyre burst of wagon-R car on Feb 27, Thursday at Pangala NH 66 in front of Katpady Kambala Gadde.
The deceased have been identified as Chaya (56) Chetan (22) and Dhruti (6)
They were on their way from Uchila to Udupi, when the tyre of their Wagon –R car suddenly burst and car went out of control. The vehicle rolled over, critically injuring passengers inside the car. They were rushed to hospital.
Three among the four died on the spot and Ramesh was critically injured and admitted in local private hospital.
Kaup police arrived to the place of an accident and registered a case in this regard.
