Kundapur; Feb 27: By opening fake account in the name of local young girl in Face book besides using bad words also deceived member of other account holders and defamed the young girl. This incident took place on Feb 26, Wednesday and in this connection Vandse Rajesh was arrested on charges of defamation by Kollur police and was produced in the court, court in turn sent him to judicial custody.
It was said that accused Rajesh was dealing with old vehicles business and few months ago, by creating a fake account in the name of Swati Mogaveera, it was being mis-used.
In this connection Swati had complained to Kollur police station three months ago. The police took the case seriously and could detect the accused in co-ordination with Cyber crime division.
Accused was arrested on Feb 26, Wednesday morning at Vandse and produced in Kundapur court and court imposed judicial custody on him.
