Udupi; Feb 26: A case of theft of the objects kept on the table near room’s window at house was reported at Malpe.
It was said that Kavya, aged 22, a resident of Kemmannu Padu Tonse village, after completing her engineering degree, was living in her house. Dell Company’s Lap top with an estimated price of Rs 10,000 purchased for her studies four years ago, her mobile phone at an estimated of Rs 1000 and vanity bag containing Rs 700 were kept on the table near window in her bed room on 23.02.2014 and went for sleep. But when she got up in the morning on 24.02.2014 her items were missing. She started searching her missing items but it was of no use. Then she realized that at night thief might have come and stolen the items kept on the table near window by putting his hand through window.
On the basis of Kum.Kavya’s complaint, a case was registered in Maple police station.
