Karkala; Feb 18: Inaugurating the village panchayat level Pokso information awareness workshop held under the auspices of Sanoor village panchayat, Udupi district panchayat, Karkala taluk panchayat and taluk education resource centre Karkala in Suvarna Gramodaya Sabha Bhavan, Shree Karunakara.S.Kotian informed that as the number of cases of atrocities, viciousness on children are increasing, teachers and guardians, parents should take an extra care and responsibilities.
Rekha Kotian, village panchayat vice president has blessed the occasion.Ganesh Kudva, president, taluk education resource centre delivered an introductory speech. Village panchayat members Praveen Anchan, Usha Naveen, Girija, Dattatreya Rao and Secretary Savita Prabhu were present. Resource person Prakash.K has conducted the training workshop.
