Karkala; Feb 14: On the occasion of Hebri Ananthapadmanabha God’s annual car festival, Hebri Namo fans and villagers by opening Namo Tea Stall distributed tea to the public at free of cost on Feb 14, Friday.
Even amidst rush, people received the tea, watched Modi’s Video, campaign was displayed. Senior activist H.Mohandas Nayak and Belanje Panchayat’s vice president Nithyananda Shetty by distributing Tea to senior journalist Pethri Bhaskar Rao, the programme was launched.
On the occasion Sudhakara Hegde, president of Shakti Kendra, Ashok Prabhu of Yuva Morch,Dinesh Shetty,taluk panchayat member Chandrashekara Shetty,Panchayat members like H.K.Sudhakar,Ganesh Prabhu, former member Seetharama Ganiga,Bhoja Poojary,retired lecturer C.Ananda Hegde and among other hundreds of party workers by being present in the programme, distributed the tea.
The focus of the programme was the banners displayed by the party workers with the writing on it “We are selling Tea, not the Country”.
