Mangalore, Feb 13: Tulu film ‘Barke’ produced under the banner Renuka Chitra Productions starring former RJ Nagaraj and Meghana in the lead role will be released in six theatres across the district on February 14, Friday.
Speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on Feb 13, Thursday, producer Suresh Reddy said that the film is titled ‘Barke’ since it has shot in that area and resembles the story of four underworld dons, who ruled the area. The movie which is near to reality will also showcase the entry of a girl in their lives and its consequences.
Director Bharath Krishna said that he film is the combination of reality and fiction. 70% of the movie is shot in Barke to give the movie a natural touch. Depending on the response, the team will plan to release film in Bangalore and even abroad.
