Railway minister to flag off two new train services from Mangalore

Mangalore, Feb 12: The railway department has announced two trains from Mangalore in the Railway Budget for 2013-14 which will be flagged off in a fortnight.

The release stated that Union Minister for Railways M. Mallikarjun Kharge will flag off the Mangalore-Madgaon Inter City (daily) and the weekly train Mangalore-Kacheguda train via Coimbatore, Reninta and Gooty. The tentative dates given were February 23 or 24.

The railway department has also implemented the extension of the Mangalore-Tiruchirapalli Express train up to Puducherry.
