Kundapur; Feb 11: Addressing the inaugural function of Karnataka Dalit Sangharsh Samiti’s Halkal Jadkal village branch and exploiter’s self-respect conference, Jayan Malpe, chief orator and convener of district KDSS said in his address that original residents of Kasturirangan report’s state residents and our community is being meted intense blow and in this regard it is inevitable to fight by the exploiter’s samiti for the justice of the community.
Further, he regretted that though many decades have been passed after we got freedom, exploitations of Dalits are being frequently continuing.KDSS is getting ready to fight against the illegal acquisition of 400 acres of land in Jadkal’s Mudoor reserved for Dalits. In this regard, he called upon the exploiters, Dalits to take a bold step and come forward. When the solution for the problem is failed by the department, false cases have been registered against the fighters, who have gone after the media and warned that if the false cases are not withdrawn, statewide protest will be held, he said.
In order to keep under control of exploiters sanghatane, dalits are only being used and in this regard we have to take precautions and called upon the Dalits to unite together by forgetting the differences of opinions.
In recent days, for political gains by putting Dalits in the front line, the registration of caste -abuse instances has been increased enormously. Each and every Dalit should understand the fact that only capitalists and land owners are benefitting from this and no development of the exploiters, dalits take place, he said.
