Mangalore, Feb 11: Pejawar Mutt pontiff Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji said that he would pay visit to the houses of Mogaveera community families in Ullal to build confidence in them on February 13, Thursday.
Addressing the press meet held at Sanghanikethan Hall on Feb 11, Tuesday, he said that after the untoward incident taken place in Ullal region recently, the Hindu minority community are living in fear.
He also said that a delegation of Ullal Mogaveera community members requested us to pay visit and ensure peace and harmony in the region, hence we will hold door-to-door campaign in order to console and build confidence in them.
Swamiji also urged the government to take action against the miscreants who carried out an attack on Hindus and their worship places. The police department must also release of innocent Hindu youth taken to the custody from a religious shrine.
