Mangalore, Feb 11: Congress veteran leader B Janardhan Poojary along with MLA J R Lobo and others visited the house of Jeevan Bangera, in Bokkapatna, a congress worker and a painter by profession who lost his life, while he slipped down on duty, and handed over the compensation cheque of Rs 60000 to the kin of the deceased, here on Tuesday, February 11.
He further visited the house of Purushothan Kotian in the neighbouring, whose has been suffering from Cancer and gave him Rs 8000 to help him in his medical needs.
Leaders Shashidar Hegde, Harikrishna Bantwal, T K Sudhir, Mohan Shetty, Kamalaksha Salian, Dennis D’Silva, Jayakar Samarth, Ganesh Kumble, Yashawanth Bolar, Shashiraj and others were present.
