Bangalore, Feb 8: Home minister K J George said that the no mercy will be shown towards the riot-mongers, who will make an attempt to disturb the peace in society.
Speaking at one of the programme, minister said that Karnataka is a state of known for peace in the country and any miscreants trying to trigger communal riots in the state will be punished without showing mercy.
The minister warns the people in the wake of communal unrest in coastal town of Ullal, where the police department had to impose prohibitory orders to avoid the series of untoward incidents and rumours.
He also urged the police department to necessary steps to prevent the anti-social elements in the society.
