The project will cover the families and needy categories to alleviate difficulties of living costs.
Human Appeal International UAE (HAI) is implementing the Dh2 million winter humanitarian campaign in the Palestinian territories, where it is distributing clothes, food, blankets and heating fuel to about 30, 000 Palestinian families affected by the floods, which hit the Palestinian territories over the last two months.
Ibrahim Rashid, Director of HAI in West Bank, said the HAI will provide during the campaign over 130, 000 litre of heating fuel to hospitals and Palestinian shelter centres.
He added that the project, which is being implemented in cooperation with the World Health Organisation (WHO), will cover the families and needy categories to alleviate difficulties of living costs.
Palestinian leaders commended the UAE project, deeming it a humanitarian contribution appreciated by the Palestinian people.
