Belthangady, Feb 1: In a tragic accident occurred between bike and a tipper , a young woman lost her life at Badyar in Padangady village, Belthangady taluk on Friday January 31.
The deceased is identified as Jyothi (27) daughter of Srinivas Sheregar, hailing from Cherkady village in Brahmavar.
It is learnt that, Jyothi who was a pillion rider in the bike traveling along with her friend Nagaraj Naik, was thrown away, when the tipper driven by Abdul Sharief plying from Venur, knocked down their bike.
Jyothi had fell on the road and was crushed to death by the tipper. Bike rider Nagaraj also sustained injured
