Udupi: National voter’s Day; District judge’s call to vote audaciously

Udupi; Jan 25: Inaugurating the ‘National voter’s Day’ organized jointly by Udupi district administration and district election officers on Jan 25, Saturday in Udupi’s Ajjarakadu Townhall, B.M.Angadi prime district and session court judge said in his speech that during the time of elections, voters without coming under, any, anybody’s pressure, any bribe, temptation, lust and without showing any laziness in the duty of election, have to cast  their votes to ensure that  able  and good representative has been chosen.

He further said that during election time if our demands were not met, it is not wise decision to boycott the election. By boycotting and showing laziness, our problems will not be solved. Under the circumstance, by uniting together, we have to elect good representatives, he said. While speaking additional district commissioner Kumar said that youths for their voter’s identification, any time of the year can be registered.

Dr.Boralingayya, who presided over the function, has advised the voter’s pratinjavi.Chief guests like district panchayat CEO M.Kangavalli, Dr.G.Shankar, Government women’s first grade college’s principal Prof.C.Ashwathamma were participated.MGM College’s professor Kokkarne Surendranatha Shetty, education officer Ashok Kamath were present as resource personalities.

Udupi tahsildar T.J.Guruprasad proposed vote of thanks, Dr.Roshan Kumar hosted the programme.
