Udupi; Jan 25: Udupi district additional Superintendent of police and Karkala ANF force’s superintendent of police Santosh Kumar and Ajekar police stations ASI Sadananda Bhandary have been selected for 2014 year’s president award for their meritorious services.
Santhosh Kumar was appointed in 1977 in the department, served Coorg district, Mysore district, Shimoga district and Udupi district. He also worked in Karavali as coast guard, Karnataka Lokayukta and in state secrete information department. He was the recipient of Chief Minister’s Gold Medal in 2008.Sadananda Bhandary was appointed in 1982 as civil police in police department. During his service period, he has received 22 cash prizes and letter of appreciation.
