Kundapur; Jan 12: In an incident, wherein a complete house was destroyed due to heavy whirlwind on Jan 11, Thursday late night in front of Beejady Padu school in Beejady village panchayat limit,resulting a total loss of rupees in lacs.
The house ,which belonging to scheduled caste Raghu couple in Beejady.As four members of the family including Raghu couple were out of the house at the time of incident,no danger to the life, has been reported.
Village panchayat’s village accountant Jagadish,members like Shekara Jatrabettu,Venkatesha,Raveendra Dodmane and among others have visited the place and examined the situation.
Sources said that Raghu and his wife were laborers by profession and were living in this house along with their two children.In front of the Padushaale,they built this house in three and half cents land and were living for the last several years.Late night whirlwind made their life miserable and homeless.Now they don’t even have the place to stay.In order to re-build the house,they are struggling for the money,it said.
