Kundapur; Jan 08: After finishing ‘Vokkoota Padagrahana celebration’ held on Jan 05,Sunday in Thekkatte Shree Durgaparameshwari Kalyana Mantap organized by Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala Gramaabhivridhi programme® Kundapur in association with Koteshwara zone Pragathi Bandhu self-help association’s Vokkoota Thekkatte A and Thekkatte B, when she was supervising the food arrangement for the gathered villagers, social activist Veena .R.Kamath (53) wife of Ramachandra Kamath collapsed and in her death also she found purposefulness.
For the last ten years, she has been working as secretary in Thekkatte Seva Sangama model Shishumandira and Dharmasthala village development programme Thekkatte Vokkoota’s former president and was engaged herself almost in all the social activities.She was very friendly in nature and she was known popularly by name ‘Veenakka’. She has been actively involved in public Laxmi Pooja programme continuously for the last twenty years in the Thekkatte surrounding region.
Immediately upon hearing the death of social activist Veena.R.Kamath, district panchayat education and health standing committee president Ganapati.T.Shreeyan,Thekkatte village panchayat former president Malyady Shivarama Shetty.Seva Sangama trust ® Kundapur.secretary Keshavaraya Prabhu,District working committee member Vadiraja Bhat,Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala Gramaabhivridhi Programme®,district director Dugge Gowda,Subramanya Shetty and among others visited the place and expressed their condolences to her departed soul.
