Kundapur; Jan 04; Unveiling the portrait of late Kolkere Ratnakara Shetty, on the occasion of Basrur Shree Sharada English medium high school’s 6th annual day celebration on Jan 03, Friday evening, K.Jayapakasha Hegde, MP said in his address that education is not mere learning of letters.Sports, art, music including literature and by encouraging children in various other fields, the responsibility of bringing to be on the top position in the lives of children is resting on parents and teachers in this competitive world.
He, reiterated that the responsibility of mouldings the future by fulfilling the needs of the children positively in this competitive world rest purely on parents. Relationship between the parents and children in residential schools are more likely to be getting affected. Lack of parental necessity (importance of presence) will increase in children. Love need to be given to children, he said.
Interest, affection towards English medium schools is more in parents. Strong belief is rooted in Children and parents that only when they study in English medium school, employment is guaranteed. Only by providing education in English, responsibility of the parents is not completed. After noticing their ideas, thoughts, parents should keep it mind that after their college’s, steps thinkings, he said.
Shree Shvasaguru Vachananda Swamiji of Bangalore Shvasa ashram while speaking said that society’s, houses of lights are schools. The one child, who gets good education not only can lead the country towards prosperity but also can bring changes in the country. Only when education field is improved in the country, prosperity, progress of the country is possible he said.
