Kundapur; Jan 04: Condemning the anti-people’s policy of state and central government, Hejamady-Byndoor ‘Janandolan Padayatre’ organized by Udupi district Bharatiya Janata Party, entered Kundapur on Jan 04, Saturday.
Meeting in Kumbhasi, Koteshwara:
Padayatre, which was on the way to Kundapur, in between the road, held a meeting at Kumbhashi bus station and Koteshwara.
In Kumbhashi former district president Udaya Kumar Shetty and in Koteshwara former minister Kota Shreenivasa Poojary, addressing the gathered people, leveled a tirade against the anti-people’s policies of both state and central government.
Hundreds of BJP activists and fans of BJP were present on the occasion.
On the occasion district BJP president Tingle Vikramarjuna Hegde,Vilas Nayak,Mahila Morcha general secretary Veena.S.Shetty,Nayana Ganesh,Sandhya Ramesh,Naliny Pradeep Rao,Geethanjali Suvarna,G.Raghavendra Uppoor,State BJP fishermen’s convener Kishore Kumar, Rajesh Kaveri,president,Kundapur Kshetra Samiti,Sampavathi Gowri,Malini,ema,Dugga Nayak,Nagaraja Kamadhenu,Ravindra Dodmane and among others were present.
As the Padayatre was moving under scorching sun, in some places cold drinks were being served to quench the thirst. After Kundapur’s meeting, they finished their lunch. Then, Padayatre moved to Maravanthe via Tallur-Hemmady road and the closing ceremony will be held in Byndoor on Jan 04 at 05.00 pm in the evening.
