Udupi; Jan 03: Under the auspices of Dr.A.V.Baliga memorial hospital, Baliga Charities, Navajeevana Aapta Salaha Kendra, Alcohol and drug addict rehabilitation centre, organized in Doddannagudde A.V.Baliga hospital, 20th freedom from alcohol and drug addiction and rehabilitation camp was inaugurated by udupi district development cell’s project director V.Prasanna.
Thereafter, while speaking he said that smoking, drinking start for enjoyment in the beginning and then it turns to addiction and in addiction there is more loss than the profit/gain. When there is a will, any addiction can be given up.’ Where there is a will, there is a way’, he said
Dr.P.V.Bhandary, director of Dr.A.V.Baliga group of institutions, KMC’s medicine department’s head Dr.N.R.Rao, Walter Cyril Pinto and among others were present.
