Kakala; Dec 27: A worker, Prakash Namboodri, aged 65, who was working for the last 15 years in Karkala taluk’s Kervashe village Hanikumeru cashew nursery field, of Karnataka Cashew development corporation, which comes under the jurisdiction of Mangalore was hurt due to wild animal attack and he breathed his last while he was on his way to his residence on Dec 25, Wednesday night, it said
On Dec 26, Thursday morning, when one of his co-workers Prashanth came to work, found the dead body of Prakash Namboodri near the shed of the residence.
P.Murlidharan, superintendent of Cashew Corporation lodged a complaint in this regard in Ajekar police station.
