Karkala; Dec 27: It was reported that in an incident, a lorry hit the pedestrian woman, while she was walking at the side of the road near Shree Laxmi Kalyan Mantap, in Sanoor village.
When Savita, daughter of Seena Poojary, a resident of Mala village’s Manjalthar Arbidhottu was walking at the side of the road, Abdul Rahim was driving his lorry ignorantly and negligently rammed on to the woman according to the complaint loadged by her brother Dinesh Poojary in Karkala city police station.
Injured Savita was admitted in private nursing home for treatment.
