Mangalore, Dec 24: Neil Rodrigues, chairman of Mangalore Coastal Round Table said that the organization will hand over an innovative science lab to Mannagudda government higher primary school during the centennial celebration of the school.
Addressing the press meet held at Press Club on Dec 24, Tuesday being a firm nationwide contributor in the field of education, Round Table firmly believes that development in this area of science can bring great benefits.
The science lab will be designed with the concept of Think-learn- practice with three key points like practical application, instant visualization and scientific curiosity.
Neil said that all lab equipment and explanation have been designed considering language ability and age of the students. The total cost of the project is around Rs 3.8 lakhs. Round Table India Foundation, a national level trust has assisted Mangalore Coastal Round Table 190 by providing a grant of Rs 1.5 lakhs.
Sunil Thalithaya, Ajith Pai, Vasudev Kamath and Gulshan Roy were present.
