Mangalore, Dec, 17: A car rams into the Tipper from behind causes serious injury to the driver and the driver admitted in a private hospital in Mangalore. The incident took place early hours of Tuesday Dec. 17.
The injured driver is identified as Franki, resident of Kokkarkal near Mulki. He was on the way to Airport in his Ambassador Car t pick up the passengers. When he reached Mukka he lost control over the car and hit the Tipper which was under repair and was in the middle of the road. And it caused serious injury to his head. Then he was taken to the private hospital at Mangalore and now he is in ICU, it is learnt.
The currupted Tipper is belonging to a Navayug construction company which was taken the in charge of four lane construction work. With the workers irresponsibility they didn’t keep any barricades and instructor board in the place where the corrupted tipper stood. This is the main reason to accident, the car driver and owners organisation of Mulki alleged.
They also alleged that the constructing company thoroughly ignored the road safety. The tipper and also other vehicles of the company do not have number plates. Standing up to the corruption of the vehicle in the middle of the road is the cause of accident.
If the RTO and police department do not take any action against the company we will stage massive protest the members of the committee said. A case has been registered at Surathkal police station.
