Karkala;Dec 17: An incident of death of a person, a resident of Kalya village’s Dhaddu Dharkasumane,who was injured due to fall from the steps of his house 8 days ago and got admitted, was reportedly declared dead on Dec 15,Sunday as he failed to respond to the treatment
According to the available information, when Thimmappa Poojary, aged 72, a resident of Kalya, was coming down from the floor of the house to urinate at around 11.00 pm in the night, he accidentally slipped his leg and fell down and got injured.
He was admitted in Manipal hospital for treatment but as he failed to respond to the treatment, he was declared dead on Dec 15, Sunday evening.
A case was registered in Karkala rural police station in this regard.
