Mangalore, Dec 17: A youth who was standing on the foot board of the bus fell off the bus and was made to death after being run over by the rear wheels of the same bus, on Monday, Dec. 16.
The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Jafar alias Haneef(19) who hailed from Bakimar in Manjeshwar Varkady. It is learnt, Mohammad who was travelling on the footboard of the bus heading towards Mudipu from Manjanady, lost balance when the bus was passing through a deep curve at DG Katte and fell on to the road.
He was working as a salesman in one of the garment stores at Uppala.
Konaje police have filed a case against Charlie Crasta, the driver of the bus as per the complaint filed by one Muhammad.
