Girish Puthran’s murder episode: All the accused arrested; gold ornaments seized claims Police

Mangalore/Bajpe, April 11; last accused Prashanth alias Pachu, aged 27, in the Girish Puthran’s murder case has been arrested by team of Bajpe police led by inspector Dinkar shetty at Shivabagh on April 10, Wednesday.

With the arrest of Prashanth, police claim that they could succeed in arresting all the people involved in the murder case.

Natasha from Kodical, Ritesh and Rajesh have already been arrested in connection with the case and Prashantha was the last one to be arrested and believed that, he was the employee of MESCOM in Kalyanpur and a close friend of Natasha, it says.

The police had recovered two gold chains belonging to Girish from Rajesh, a bracelet from Natasha and one of the two finger rings from Prashant, who reportedly has sold the other ring to an unidentified person in the local railway station. The Hyundai Eon car, as well as the other instruments used for the murder has also been recovered.

Puthran (50) who was dealing in fish trade and land dealing was found murdered in Moorukodi in permude village a couple of months ago. Motive behind his murder was to desist Puthran from going after Natasha, with whom Girish started developing a relation against the wish of Rajesh, who was supposed to marry her.

Girish was reportedly killed in a moving car by strangulating and stabbing him repeatedly. After robbing the gold from the body of the deceased, the accused had thrown the body and mobile phone had also been thrown near Buntwal.Girish clothes were also burnt down at Belthangadi in order to erase all the traces of murder.
