Mangalore, Dec 16: Minister for Wakf, Haj and Minority Welfare Qamarul Islam inaugurated the ‘educational convention’ organized by Al-Madina Islamic Complex at ‘Marhoom Manjanady Ustaad Vedike’ at Manjanady-Naringana, on Sunday Dec. 15.
Minister appreciates the Al-Madina organization for providing every service required by a civilized society. Orphanage, boarding Madrasa, English and Kannada medium schools, Shariat College, Women’s college, Masjid, Community hall, health centre, library are some of the services that the organization has been providing. This organization is a model worth emulating, he said.
