Moodbidri; Dec 15: After inaugurating the ‘district youth conference workshop’ held under the auspices of Youth seva and sports department and on behalf of rotary club on Dec 15, Sunday in rotary sammilana hall, Abhayachandra Jain, minister for youth development and sports affair said in his address that on behalf of yuvajana seva and Kreeda elake in Moodbidri youth empowerment centre will be built at the cost of around 14 to 15 crore.
From education, self-reliance, self-employment a strong nation can be built. Tender has already been invited for the construction of synthetic track in Swarajya ground. As a complementary to this, swimming pool, indoor shuttle court also will be constructed.
The deputy director of the department P.Parshwanatha said that role of youths will play an important role in the development of the global economy. High preference will be given to youth empowerment centres in rural region.
Rotary president Hasdulla Ismail presided over the function. Chief guests like municipal council member Suresh Kotian,rotary education society’s secretary Narayana P.M was present.A.K.Rao along with introductory speech, welcomed the guests and compered the programme.Rotary club secretary Sudarshan jain proposed vote of thanks.
