Karkala; Nov 29: A case of poisonous creature bite to a resident, near Bailur School in Neere village of Karkala taluk has been reported and breathed his last on his way to hospital.
The deceased has been identified as Hanumanthappa, aged 30, a resident of Neere.
According to the sources, a man was bitten by poisonous creature and fell sick. When he was being taken to Karkala government hospital for an emergency treatment in an emergency treatment vehicle, he breathed his last on his way, it said.
A case has been registered by Tukarama in Karkala city police station in this regard.
