Karkala;Nov 20 : After inaugurating the co-operative week’s valedictory function held as a part of 60th Akhila Baharata Sahakara Sapthaha,jointly organized by Karnataka Sahakara Mahamandali,DK Sahakari milk producer’s vokkoota,Udupi Zilla sahakari union and Shivapura milk producer’s Sangha, in shivapura sahakari sangha’s premises on Nov 20,Wednesday,Raviraja Hegde,president DK milk producer’s vokkoota said in his address that in today’s fast growing villages co-operation, culture and values made their homes.
He further said that because of villager’s quality co-operative mental disposition and by giving importance to discipline and as a result of honest efforts, the sahakara sanghas could able to progress, he said.
The Karnataka state sahakara mahamandali’s director, udupi zilla sahakari union president Kishan Hegde Kolkebail said in his guest of honor’s speech that though 100 years have been completed for sahakara commitment, for sahakara sapthaha, we are in the happy mood of celebrating 60 years. Only service, not co-operation. Only when we serve along with profit, the real meaning of sahakara principle will come, he said.
D.S.Hegde, retired director of milk producer’s Vokkoota said in his speech that today everywhere Kanakadasa Jayanti is being celebrated and through his song “Yenage Nee Neravagu”the man who proclaimed the principle of sahakara, Kanaka dasa jayanti is being celebrated on the same day of sahakara sapthaha’s conclusion day, which gives immense happiness, he said. Adding to this, Sahakara means combination of culture, value and principles.
Shivapura milk producer’s sahakari sangha’s president Billubailu Suresh Shetty has chaired the function.DK milk producer’s vokkoota’s director Neere Krishna shetty, Vijayalaxmi,Udupi zilla sahakari union director,Hebri vyavasaya seva sahakari sangha’s president Boothgundy Karunakara Shetty, zilla sahakari union’s treasurer,Indrali Jayakara Shetty,vice president Ashok Kumar Shetty, Assistant organizer Dr.Anil Kumar Shetty,DK milk producer vokkoota managing director Dr.B.Satyanarayana were present.
