Bantwal, Nov 11: ‘Vishwaroopa Darshana’ was celebrated in Tirumala Venkataramana temple in Bantwal by lighting hundreds of clay oil lamps in the wee hours of Sunday November 10.

In Brahmi Muhurtha at around 4.30, the Vishwaroopa Darshan began after temple chief priest Srinivas Bhat lit the lamp in front of the Tulasi Katte after which thousands of devotees lit earthen lamps.

The festival is celebrated in Karathik Masa which is also known as Karthika Deepostavam. Devotees thronged the temple to feast their eyes with the sight of the temple.
