Mangalore, Nov.11: Master Nikhilesh M. Holla, student of Canara High School, Urva, Mangalore was adjudged the Best Individual Player in Below 17 Years Category in the Chess Tournament organised during 29th National Games 2013-14 under the auspices of School Games Federation of India at Tadepalligundam, Andhra Pradesh from October 27th to 31st, 2013.
Total of five Best Individual Player prizes were awarded in this category.
Boys team of Karnataka put up excellent performance and maintained 2nd place up to 4th round of this tournament, but had to be satisfied with getting 4th place in the final round where they had to face very stiff competition.
Master Nikhilesh has also bagged the 3rd place in 400-metre Free Style Category during SGFI State Level Swimming Competition held at Bangalore on 22nd & 23rd October, 2013.
