Mangalore, Nov 11: The elections for the post of president and office-bearers of Bunt alias Nadavara Mathr Sangha, Mangalore was held at Ramakrishna College on November 10, Sunday.
Educationalist A Sadananda Shetty and businessman Kodialguttu Ajith Kumar Malady are in the race for the post of president. Both of them have served as president before.
The polling started at 10 am and ended in the evening. The polling took place in each of the taluks like Mangalore, Puttur, Kundapur, Sullia, Bantwal, Karkala, Beltangady and also in Udupi.
The elections were held for the posts of various office bearers for the year 2013-14.
The counting and result will be announced on November 13.
