Ullal, Nov. 4: “Every taluk will have generic medical shop in order to provide medicines at nominal price to the people,” said, health and family welfare minister U.T.Khadar.
He was addressing the gathering after inaugurating health camp organised at Kallapu School.
“Medicines play main role in treating diseases. Some tablets are priced very high as a result most of the people are not able to buy tablets. The generic medical shops will sell such tablets at 90 per cent concession price. The scheme will be started after holding discussions during the cabinet meeting.
Abu Safiyaan Madani, chairman, Voice of Quran, Raziya Ibrahim, vice-president, Ullal Town Municipality, Shanthi D’Souza, Usman Kallpu, members were present among others.
