Udupi; Oct 12: A group Durganamaskara pooja was performed in Thenkapete in the proximity of lord Laxmivenkatesh temple on Oct 11, Friday on account of Navarathri.
Goddess Sharadevi and God Laxmivenkatesha have been specially decorated with various colorful flowers and from outside it was illuminated with decorative lights.
Group Durganamaskara Pooja: Under the auspices of GSB Yuvaka Mandala, a group Durganamaskara pooja was performed as per rituals under the guidance of priest Dayaghan Bhat.
P.V.Shenoy, temple administrator, GSB president of Yuvaka Mandali subramanya Pai along with his wife Mrs, Vishala, Rohitaksha Padiyar and community women in large number have participated in the pooja rituals.
Unbroken sequences of scenes: Mahavishnu Bhajana Mandali, Sirsi has organized variety entertainment and dance programmes on Oct 10, Thursday night depicting some historical sequences in historical costumes along with devotional Bhajans.
