Karkala; Oct 12: Vinaya Kumar Sorake, minister for urban development and district in charge said in his address that the process of announcement of Hebri, as town panchayat, which possess all the required facilities and eligibilities has already been commenced.
After receiving memorandum from Mudradi Manjunatha Poojary, ZP member and prominent congress leader, minister said that after considering the demands of prominent personalities and leaders, Hebri will be declared as town penchant very shortly, he said.
H.K.Shreedhara Shetty, former Hebri panchayat member and human rights fighter, former president of Hebri Panchaya Niddodi H.Jayakara Poojary and among others were present in the function.
Manjunatha Poojary has thanked Vinaya Kumar Sorake, minister for urban development and district in charge for accepting the opinions of general public and for assuring about the announcement of Hebri town panchayat.
