Kundapur; Oct 09:Bangalore’s Yakshadegula team has been uninterruptedly involved in various activities for the last 23 years, has its own name imprinted in the field of Yakshagana.
The team Yakshadegula, apart from winning Yakshagana Bayalata academy award, has also received many other prominent awards, will stage historical Yakshagana festival from 12.10.2013 to 14.10.2013.
On 12.10.2013, Sadananda Navda, vice president of national JCI will launch the programme at 06.30 pm at Koteshwara Hodrali shree Thirkanneshwari temple premises.
P.Thejeshwara Rao, MD of shree Ganesh Durga Charitable trust and Shri.K.Ramdas Rao, temple’s Dharmadarshi will attend the function as chief guests.’Sudarshana Vijaya Yakshagana’ will be staged on that day.
On 13.10.2013, at Thekkatte Hayagreeva Kala Mantap, under the auspices of Yashasvi Kalavrinda,’Sundopasundara Kalaga Yakshagana’will is presented at 02.30 pm in the afternoon.
On this occasion Yakshadegula President Balakrishna Bhat will be felicitated by Yashashvi Kalavridna.
On 14.10.2013,at night 08.30 pm under the auspices of Kundapura Kodi shree Chakreshwari temple’Sundopasundara yakshagana’will be staged at Shree Chakreshwari temples Rangamantap.
For this free programme,renowned and famous artists of Yakshadegula like Lambodhara Hegade,Devrajadas,Bhaskar Bhandary,Manjunatha Navda,Madhava,Kadabala Udaya Hegade,Thammanna Gaonkar,Ganapati Hegade Kadle,Ganesh Uppunda,Sujayeendra Hande,Narasimha Thunge,Vishwanatha Shetty,Shringeri Ramesh Shetty,Udaya Bhovi,Balakrishna Bhat and among others will be participating.
