Karkala: Green signal for city’s development works on Oct 07

Karkala; Oct 07: For the last several months due to many obstacles, hurdles some of the development works in the city have remained pending.

The government’s these development works should have been completed by the end of last January. But shortcomings in local administration, assembly elections code of conduct and heavy monsoon etc have impede the process of carrying out development works.

Vinaya Kumar Sorake, minister for urban development and district in charge will show green signal on October 07 for the re-start of the works, those remained pending due to many reasons.

Project’s development works will be carried out at the cost of Rs 5 crore, will cover re-application of tar on road from Banglagudde to Ananthashayana temple, from Ananthashayana temple to backside of Bhuvanendra College, from taluk office via Kallotte to STV circle, from Bangalagudde via Kallotte to STV circle construction of drainage.

If, PMC agency, Bangalore take the responsibility of carry out quality works, then Inspotec will carry out the works,it said.

Vinaya Kumar Sorake, minister for urban development will launch the commencement of works.V.Sunil Kumar, MLA will preside over the function.

CMC president Smt.Rehamath,Jayaprakash Hegde,MP,Vidhana Parishath members like Kota Shreenivas Poojary,capt,Ganesh Karnik,Pratapchandra Shetty,former MLA H.Gopala Bhandary,Dr.M.T.Reju,DC,Prasanna,project director, Chief administrator Gopalakrishna and among others are expected to participate in the programme.
