Mangalore, Oct5: An engineer by profession and write, and the president of humorous writers association H. Shantharaj Ital chosen for Kalkura Award.
His columns, articles were published in various news papers of the state. Ithal awarded with Kannada Sahitya Parishath Datthi award and Atthimabbe award for his work “ Bengaloorige Bandaga Nammanegu Banni”. And he also got Padukone Ramananda Rao memorial award to his book “Bhootha vyasa midam sarvam”.
The awarding ceremony will held at Town Hall on October 10 in the occation of Kota Shivarama Karanth Birth anniversary celebration said Pradeep Kumar Kalkura in the press release.
