Bantwal, Oct.2: A labor died by drowning in the Netravathi river accidently when he was washing his legs in the river near tourist house of Bantwal on Wednesday Oct2.
The diseased is known as Aboobakkar Siddik(32). He is the resident of Sunnat Kere, Guruvayana Kere of Belthangady Taluk. The fire servicemen found the body by evening with the help of swimmers.
Aboobeker was come for the construction work of compound wall of tourist house. It is said that in the noon before going to Mosque he went near the river to wash his legs. At that time he accidently fell down into the river.
The case registered in the Bantwal Rural police station.
