Udupi; Sept 24: Addressing the gathering Shreekanth,municipal commissioner in his announcement said that as a part of national population registration (NPR) programme,those who have not taken photos in the Biometric photo programme,can now make use of an opportunity to take photos in the programme,which will be commencing from Sept 15 onwards.
It has also been informed that while coming for taking photos, they have to bring their identity proof (copy of the NPR application acceptance letter or copy of the family member’s photo acceptance letter).
He also said that there is no need of photos for those who have already taken photos for NPR.
Therefore an arrangement has been made for the residents of the villages, those who have already registered and not taken photos in Gandhi Bhavan Biometric Photo programme, situated in front of Bannanje SP office city limit and Ambalpady, Kadekar, Kutpady, Moodanidambur, Kidiyur and Thenkanidiyur.
