Udupi: Photographer’s demands will be supported only after discussing with chief minister-says Sorake

Udupi;Sept 22: After inaugurating the south Kanara photographer’s  association’s 23rd general body meeting, held on Sept 22,Sunday at Ammanni Ramanna Sabha Bhavana,Vinaya Kumar Sorake,minister for urban development and district in charge said in his speech that need of academy, ban on illegal practice of photography are all genuine demands of photographers.

Besides I will also pay my attention and discuss with deputy commissioner about own building for South Kanara photographer’s association (SKPA) and accommodation. He also added that in this regard, I convene a meeting with Chief Minister to discuss about all these issues and pressurize the chief minister to fulfill the demands of photographers.

It has been decided to submit a memorandum under the leadership of Abhayachandra Jain, minister for youth welfare and sports affairs containing all these demands. Today profession of photography has been changed to unbelievable stage. It is not wrong to say that photography is opinion building media and substantial contribution of photography is there for the progress of the politicians, social representatives. This is one of the talented, skilful profession, he added.
