Udupi: Criminal prisoner, who gone underground has been arrested

Udupi; Sept 21: Udupi session court has awarded 12 years of rigorous punishment in 2005 to Satish M, a resident of Mogaveera Pete in Pejamangoor village. When he was serving his sentence in Mysore, has returned to his native place on pay-roll leave in 2006 but without returning back to prison, he has been hiding ever since. Court has issued a non-bailable warrant against him but accused has been hiding from the sight of police.

Under the direction of police superintendent Dr Boralingayya, MBIPS.additional police superintendent Santosh Kumar,Dr Prabhudeva Mane,asst superintendent,Udupi sub-division police station and under the guidance of Brahmavar police circle inspector Prabhu D T,Brahmavar police station’s asst police inspector Girish Kumar S,SASI Balakrishna Poojary,police personnel Ratnakar,K Prasanna and Ramesh,Satish has been arrested at Vijaya Nagara in Shimog district. He was brought to Udupi session court on 20.09.2013 and court ordered him to be under judicial custody.
