Mangalore, Sep 19: The logo and the website www.alvasnudisirivirasat2013.com of Alva’s Nudisiri Virasat launched at hotel Deepa Comforts here on September 19.
MLA Mr J R Lobo launched the Alvas Nudisiri Virasat Logo and website. Logo has been designed by Pushparaj, student of visual arts, Alvas and website was designed by Abhijith.
In his inaugural speech he said that, by organizing cultural programmes at Moodbidri, Dr Mohan Alva has created history. Alvas is doing a good job.They are encouraging youth and youth should also make the utmost use of it While concluding Lobo said that youth are the future of the country. All the other institutions must take Alva’s Institutions as a model
Speaking on the occasion Dr Mohan Alva said that the Nudisiri celebrates its 10th anniversary while Alvas Virasat celebrates its 20th anniversary,both these events are united to spread the kannada sensibility across the world. Alvas Nudisiri Virasat, will be held in Vidyagiri from December 19 to 22.This conference has the key concept of “Kannada Mind-Then-Now-in Future” which will be felicitated by iconic literary figures.Renowned poets, critics, writers and other artistes of National and international fame will be present on the occasion.
An approximate of 2 lakh participants per day with the total of 10 lakh participants with keen interest in literature and culture would be participating in this mega literary and cultural event. The programme will be held in 4 platforms and cultural programmes will be held in 10 different stages simultaneously Mohan Alva said.
The cultural event includes Kannada cultural village, Alva’s Chitra Siri, Book exhibition, food festival and cultural exhibitions. The exhibition will be inaugurated on December 18.
