Mangalore, Sep 18: “On the occasion of Vijayadashmi, Abhivridhi, association organized six-day exhibition cum sale of pure silk products from across the country, at Hotel Moti Mahal which inaugurated on Wednesday, 18 September by the director and president of AJ hospital and Research Centre A.J. Shetty.
After the inauguration he said that the exhibition is too good. It will be helpful to the Mangaloreans. This exhibition will make success he said,
Talking in the occasion the administrator of the fair Rakesh Rai said that the fair will going on till -23 September, 2013. It is the showcase of India’s dazzling pure and probable silks of Tassar, Eri, Mulberry, Kanchi silk, bridal sarees, designer embroider saree, dress materials, Bagalpul silks and dress, uppad and godwal sarees, maheshwari and kota silks, temple bordered, Mysore silk, Calcutta silk,Banaras, shifan saree, and Muga. And other products like silk shirts, kurta, tie, stoles, showls, salwar comize, bedsheet and kushan covers showcase purest silk goods endorsed by Silk Mark Retailers, Manufacturers and Exporters from Kashmir to Kanjivaram.
Nearly 18 states manufacturer will be there in the fair and 50 shops are opened selling the best silk products of India, where the prices range from Rs 1500 to Rs 1 .5 Lakhs. Entry to the exhibition is free, and timings of the exhibition are from 10.30am to 8.30pm.
