Karkala; Sept 11: On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Saarvajanik Ganeshotsava has been celebrated in different places of Karkala in grand grandeur and in a spectacular manner.
During the occasion, various types of religious congregations, dances by children, Yakshagana Thaalamaddale and dramas along with various other religious programmes have been organized in different locations.
Overall forgetting about the caste, creed, color, social status, upper/lower mentality, all have visited the place of worship in unity and offered Poojas and sought the blessings of lord Ganesha.
