Opposing the Garama Panchayat shifting, Ananthadi- Netlamudnoor residents stages protest

Vittla, September 3: Opposing the shift of Grama Panchayat to Nerala Katte Rajeev Gandhi service centre of Netla Mudnoor, which was earlier situated in the Babanakatte of Netla Padnooru and Ananthadi village coverage area, residents staged protest.

On the occasion Ananthadi and Netlamudnur’s hundreds of residents were gathered, which caused to verbal skirmish, but no unpleasant incidents has done. Bantwal taluk panchayat CEO Vishwanath Poojary, deputy talhsildar Parameshwara Moili, Vittla revenue commissioner Govinda Nayak, Netlamudnur V.A Raju Lamani and Panchayat development officer K. Jayarao were visited the spot and requested the villagers that they must obey the D.C’s order.

After receiving the request from the Ananthadi villagers Taluk panchayat CEO assured to take proper action regarding the issue and later wards residents stopped the protest.

 Details: In the Grama Panchayat meet decision was taken to shift the grama panchayat to Neralakatte Rajeev Gandhi service centre from Ananthadi. Hence, order was given to change the location and relevant things also shifted to new office.

Opposing these action Ananthadi villagers staged protest led by grama panchayat members.

Zilla panchayat member Chennappa Kotian, Taluk panchayat president Lalitha Shivappa naika, member Dinesh Amtoor cooperated to maintained the situation.
